The cast grows…

According to The Heat Vision Blog, Tim Robbins has joined the cast of The Green Lantern. Robbins will play Senator Hammond. Senator Hammond is the disapproving father of the movie's villain, Dr. Hector Hammond, played by Peter Sarsgaard. The movie starts filming in March down in New Orleans, and has a June 17th, 2011 release date. Ryan Reynolds stars as Green Lantern, with Blake Lively playing Carol Ferris, his love interest.

This movie is gonna be awesome, i was hoping for Sinestro and the Sinestro Corps. but hammond should be interesting.

I am in total agreement Lantern 2814. I'm guessing sinestro is making some sort of appearance in this to be the main mega villain later on.
